Strictly Follow Usage & Safety Directions! It is a violation of Federal Law to use this product in a manner inconsistent with these recommendations.

Please read the SDS (Safety Data Sheet) at the bottom of the Safety Page on this website. Follow these directions explicitly.  Never stay in the apartment, condo, hotel room, or vehicle if there is still  a strong chlorine odor for more than a few seconds. Make sure to air out the apartment, hotel room, or vehicle until the chlorine odor is gone after the treatment. It may take a day or two before you can use the apartment, hotel room, or vehicle again. Be safe and don't take any risks.

Caution: Keep Out of Reach of Children. Wear Protective Eye Wear.
Wear Robber/Synthetic Gloves at all times while handling.
Wear Aerator Mask - NIOSH Approved N100
Do not ingest at any time.
Avoid Direct Sunlight while using the product.
Store in cool, dry safe location away from children

Never mix Odor Away with any other chemical and never use Odor Away when other chemicals are present in the air or water.

Amount Needed:   
How many Odor-Away 20G Tablets will I need?

Apartments: Average Usage of 20G Tablets
    Studio Apartments: Average of 4-5 Tablets
    1 Bedroom Apartments:  Average of 5-8 Tablets
    2 Bedroom Apartments: Average of 7-11 Tablets
    3 Bedroom Apartments: Average of 10-13 Tablets

Tablet usage will depend on the apartment square footage, ceiling height, odor severity, and number of rooms. Some apartments will require less than the average and some apartments will require more. The key to success is to completely clean the entire apartment/hotel room: carpeting, appliances, bathrooms, etc... and replace carpeting if necessary and paint prior to treating the apartment/hotel room for cigarette or cigar smoke. Remember, whatever the Odor Away can get to it in a high enough concentration it will eliminate, whatever it can't get to in a high enough concentration, it won't eliminate.

Auto's/RV's: 
    Standard 4 Door Sedan: 1 Tablet
    Large SUV - 2 Tablets
    RV - 3-4 Tablets based on size and severity of odor

Again, make sure the entire vehicle has been detailed/cleaned before treatment is the key to success.

Hotel Rooms: 
    Main Area:  1-2 Tablets
    Bathroom: 1 Tablet

Again, make sure everything has been cleaned and the carpet has been replaced and the walls painted first.

Safety:
Can I stay in the apartment/hotel room/vehicle while the product is in use?

Follow these guidelines explicitly.  Never stay in the apartment, condo, hotel room, or vehicle if there is still  a strong odor for more than a few seconds. Make sure to air out the apartment, condo, hotel room, or vehicle until the chlorine odor is gone after the treatment. It may take a day or two before you can use the apartment, condo, hotel room, or vehicle again. Be safe and don't take any risks.

We recommend "not" being in the apartment/hotel room/vehicle while the product is working for any extended period of time. We recommend staying out of an apartment, hotel room, for at least 12 hours after the initial treatment and staying out of the vehicle for at least 4 hours. It is however, safe to go in and out of the vehicle for a few seconds to start the vehicle to turn on the fan in recirculate mode after 4 hours of exposure/usage in the vehicle to make sure the vehicle vents are exposed to the treatment.

Personal Items:
Do I need to remove or cover any delicate items, food or plants?

Our products are generally safe for plants, and other delicate items including electronic equipment. Seal all food products so the Odor Away gas can't access the food products. NEVER DIRECTLY PUT OUR ODOR AWAY TABLETS IN A FISH TANK OR AQUARIUM!

DO NOT leave pets in the apartment, condo, hotel room, or vehicle until the chlorine odor has completely dissipated, which is typically at least 12+ hours.

Flammability:   
Is the product flammable?

This product can be flammable if exposed to certain combustible materials and never expose to open flames. Do not use if there is a pilot light on for a gas water heater or any other appliance. So, please keep away from open flames or fire. Never mix with other chemicals or in the presence of other chemicals. See SDS on the Safety Tab for specifics.

Residue: 
Do any of your products leave a film that needs to be cleaned up after use?

No, our product evaporates into a basic saltwater solution leaving no residue whatsoever.

Toxicity:   
Are your products safe for pets and humans?

Do not be in the apartment, condo, hotel room, or vehicle while the product is being activated and there is a chlorine smell remaining for more than a few seconds. NEVER INGEST THIS PRODUCT. Gloves are recommended in all cases when opening the product and when handling the product. Wear protective eye wear at all times when handling this product. There is no residue or lingering odor that will cause harm to animals or humans.
